"How about telling your customers up front that they will have to pay for baggage on top of your advertised flight price?"

"CheckIn: Was told that we were on a standby flight. Never happened to me before. They put a stand by label on our luggage. They actually admitted they could sell out ticket again and we would have to wait til we board to be allocated a seat. Very stressful. Very annoyed as we have paid for our tickets and should have been allocated a seat."

"Luggage handling: How about including luggage in the price of your ticket or at least when booking making it very clear that there is an extra charge. I had no idea until we arrived that there would be an extra cost. I almost didnt have enough money as I wasnt aware. Then I was shown it in the small print! Later discover that KLM have bad repuation for overbooking and double selling seat. on the flight back, they sold our seat and we had to get a different BA flight the next day. We got home 24 hours later than planned. I was meant to pick up my kids on arrival back to UK, I had to make lots of different logistical arrangements causing lots of stress for me, my partner, their father, my children, and grandparents. Outragious! We had some compensation, but no where near enough for the aggrevation, stress caused and loss of working time. KLM are more concerned about profit than customers. I will never fly with them again and everyone I know will be told how bad they are."

"The flight itself was excellent, however checking in seemed to be a challenge, of course partly because of the weather conditions, but all air france/klm flights were merged into one queue whilst operating 5 counters, this was not too pleasant as I was hoping to take it a bit easy after the luggage drop. Personnel were good."

"need to rethink how you get passengers on to plane for a three quarter of an hour flight. It seemed to take twice as long as the flight. London much better than Amsterdam"

"CheckIn: Boarding at Amsterdam was very poor. Three separate and slow moving queues. Getting people on to the plane was the worst I have experienced in a long time"

"KLM and Air France live in a world of their own, but KLM has proved themselves to be the better service provider. But still they have a lot to learn about this business (air stewards service standing without emotions or reason on their faces when two smaller passangers are stuggling with the overhead compartment is not only bad service but very rude, even if you're a fellow paying passanger)"

"Luggage handling: they took the handluggage when getting into the plane and didn't bother to tell us to remove fragile things. needless to say, in london they gave them back among the checked in suitcases (surely they handled them like china)"
