"CheckIn: Had problems doing online check in whil in Rome - couldn't access a computer easily. I also don't think you should have to choose your seats, your seats should be allocated to you at the time of booking your tickets - my husband and I weren't even sitting together!"

"Flight AZ 229 on 22 April from London-Heathrow to Milan was overbooked and I was bumped from the flight. Alitalia staff at the airport were not very helpful or understanding. I was rerouted on a later direct flight from London to Rome, in order to make an important connection and meeting in Umbria that afternoon. Alitalia told me I'd receive a voucher for this inconvenience, but I received no reimbursal."

"Surcharges comments: I paid 234.11 Euros for the ticket, though originally it was to cost me 196.46 Euros. There was a problem when I submitted my reservation and Alitalia cancelled it; I then had to redo the procedure and eDreams charged me the higher fare. I complained to eDreams, but they would not reimburse me the 38 pounds difference in price, even though eDreams was still offering London-Rome tickets at a lower rate."

"CheckIn: Even though I took the earliest Heathrow Express to the airport to arrive in time to check-in, all seats had been taken by earlier check-ins. I was not informed that I could check-in online before the flight so as to avoid this problem of overbooking and bumping."
